In May 2026, we will open our first flagship store in Hawksburn Village,  a considered, design led retail environment that brings our world to life in a physical space for the first time.

This flagship represents a defining chapter in our brand journey, and we are now seeking an exceptional Store Manager to lead our founding retail team.

About the Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead the launch of the Rachel Donath flagship store.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the store as a destination for premium furniture and interiors, delivering an elevated and highly personalised customer experience while driving strong commercial performance.

You will build and lead the founding store team, ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, confidence and design sensibility that defines our brand.

Our flagship will not operate like traditional retail. It is a carefully curated environment designed to foster meaningful client relationships with homeowners, trade clients and interior designers.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for both the customer experience and the commercial performance of the flagship store.

Key responsibilities include:

Customer Experience & Sales Leadership

  • Deliver and model exceptional, design-led customer service

  • Build lasting relationships with retail, trade and interior design clients

  • Drive store sales performance and exceed revenue targets

  • Lead the team in delivering a highly personalised and considered client experience

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train and develop the flagship retail team

  • Lead, coach and inspire a high performing sales culture

  • Conduct regular team training to build product knowledge and client service excellence

  • Foster a positive, polished and professional store culture

Store Operations

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures

  • Manage rostering and staffing to support peak trading times

  • Monitor and report on store performance and sales metrics

  • Maintain operational excellence across POS, stock processes and client records

Visual & Brand Standards

  • Ensure impeccable store presentation at all times

  • Uphold brand standards across visual merchandising and client interactions

  • Maintain the flagship as a refined, welcoming and design led environment

About You

You are a natural leader who understands that exceptional retail is built on service, detail and relationships.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role (premium or luxury environment highly regarded)

  • Strong sales leadership with a track record of achieving commercial targets

  • The ability to build genuine relationships with discerning clients

  • Confidence, warmth and exceptional communication skills

  • Strong organisational and operational management skills

  • A polished and professional personal presentation

  • A passion for interiors, furniture or design

Experience working with interior designers, architects or trade clients will be highly regarded but is not essential.
