Inventory by Rachel Donath is a collection of sourced and made furniture and objects, with an emphasis on rare and sculptural pieces.
Established in 2020, Inventory by Rachel Donath has fast-become a secret-weapon of Australia’s most successful interior designers, with its high quality and small batch emphasis, creating exclusive pieces for unique homes and inspiring spaces.
From 17th Century French tapestries, to mid 20th century Murano light fittings, to bespoke, small batch collections, Rachel Donath’s highly considered inventory spans from antique to new, original to interpretation, the common thread being an emphasis on excellence in design with exceptional detail, line and form.
Rachel Donath’s first collection draws inspiration from the timeless aesthetic of French and Italian modernist design and lends on the iconic shapes, forms and materials synonymous with celebrated European designers such as Royère, Perriand and Becchi.
Every piece in this limited range has been intentionally constructed, with a strong focus on supporting local Australian artisans where possible with some pieces, such as the stone tables, mirrors and lamps made here in Melbourne, Australia.
With a collaborative, global and ethical approach to design, this collection has been made using sustainable materials such as recycled timbers.
The range has been developed with conscious intent to support both local communities here in Australia and in developing countries. With a small batch emphasis, every piece in the range is hand-made across continents, supporting both local and global artisans.
