I feel like I can finally exhale now it's February and school has gone back! I can finally get proper chunks of time in at my desk and start planning for a big year ahead.
In terms of what I’m currently loving, I’ve always loved vintage jewellery and have been on the look out for a long time for inspiration for the re-model of my engagement ring. A friend was wearing a 60 year old ring she inherited from her grandmother and I was immediately drawn to its beautiful lines and simplicity. I worked with an amazing local Jeweller to have my band remodelled in a similar vein and am so happy with the outcome!
I'm neck deep in research and development of our 2026 collections and have been looking back at old auction catalogues for material inspiration. I’m finding myself drawn to colour and pattern and boldness. A cabinet that has been on my mood board for a while now is the Emile Jacques Ruhlmann by Frank Pollaro ‘Cabanel’ cabinet’ which has all the things I look for in good design - pattern, form, texture and interest.
I'm patiently waiting for the new season of White Lotus to begin so I can lose myself in this hilarious series, I absolutely loved the last 2 series and am very excited to watch the third! I’m still listening to podcasts on all things business, leadership and growth and recently was very inspired by a talk I heard by Taki Moore, who’s philosophy around loving what you do and maintaining a work life balance really resonate with me.

I often fell like January is a bit of a false start to the year, and February is where the real hustle & grind begins! February is such an exciting month at RD, with a few new product launches (including
Tautou...). and lots of shoots for upcoming collections (eek!). It's always so hard not to launch everything all at once!!
My husband & I have just finished Hacks. We binge watched all 3 seasons in a couple of weeks! The cast is wonderful & it's the perfect combination of funny & heartfelt.
I've been lucky enough to spend a bit of time down the beach with my family on the weekends. Lots of beach walks, swims, and hikes into the bush. It's such a treat to switch off over the weekend and spend some time in nature without my phone & laptop!

I have a few fun things on this month! I am looking forward to visiting Heide Museum of Modern Art. I really want to see Molto Bello: Icons of Modern Italian Design exhibition.
I am feeling inspired by all things Italian at the moment as I have been planning a trip to Sicily in July. I have been day dreaming about exploring little Italian towns, taking in the breathtaking architecture, enjoying afternoon swims & eating the best local food.
Of course, I also have a 'European Wardrobe' Pinterest board in full swing. I am loving the Sir Evalita Twist Midi Dress. The pattern and fabric is divine!
