National Business Development Manager (Australia)

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth through meaningful relationships with designers, architects, and luxury property clients.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing design brand and take the lead in expanding our national presence across high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. Open to applicants Australia-wide, this role reports directly to the Founder and is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-led, design-focused environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and nurturing strategic relationships with architects, designers, developers and high-end clients

  • Prospecting new business opportunities through outreach, referrals and networking

  • Delivering a premium consultative sales experiences

  • Executing structured call cycles and managing a robust sales pipeline

  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to brand growth strategy

  • Delivering regular reporting, insights, and market intelligence to support business decisions

  • Embodying the Rachel Donath values in every client and internal interaction

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial savvy with a deep appreciation for design. You’re warm, articulate, proactive and you genuinely enjoy connecting with people.

You bring:

  • 5–7 years' experience in business development, ideally within luxury goods, furniture, design, or a related industry

  • Strong B2B sales capability with a proven track record of revenue growth

  • Confidence in consultative selling, presentation delivery, and negotiating high-value deals

  • The ability to interpret data and market trends to inform strategic direction

  • A passion for interiors, craftsmanship, and considered living

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • CRM proficiency and strong attention to detail in reporting

  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally as required
